Dino Run

Game

A remake of Chrome's offline T-Rex runner that fills the whole window instead of a 600x150 strip. Space, the up arrow or a tap jumps (hold for a higher jump), the down arrow or a swipe down ducks or drops fast, and the best score is kept in localStorage. The rules follow the original: speed climbing from 6 to 13, cactus groups that appear as it speeds up, pterodactyls at three heights after 8.5, a flashing score every 100 points and an inverted night sky with moon and stars every 700. Every sprite is a pixel bitmap drawn on a canvas at whole-pixel scale, collisions are tested pixel by pixel, and the blips are square waves from the Web Audio API.
